Badam Paak !!!

Badam paak is a pure almonds, dairy free, fat free barfi. It is a no mess easy to make barfi. My daughter got a craving to eat something sweet…something which has no dairy or chocolate. I always prefer to give them goodness of almonds. So I made this within 10 minutes. Satisfies her sweets craving. 😉

Ingredients:

Almonds 200 grms, sugar 150 grms, cardamon powder 1 tsp. Butter 1 tsp to grease the tray.

Method:

In a pan boil the sugar with 1/2 to 3/4 cup of water for 5 to 7 mins. The syrup should not be too thick nor runny. When to touch the syrup between your thumb and index finger it should raise a into a single strand. Now dry grind the almond coarsely and add it to the sugar syrup. Now add the cardamom powder. Mix well, and transfer it into the greased tray. Let it set for cut into any desired shapes. Enjoy the wholesome goodness of almond as Badam paak.
